Experience:
Ability to do the work of a Lock and Dam Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common tasks including experience working as a shift head lock and dam operator responsible for site operations during second, third, and swing shift or on leave days. Perform and direct the locking of boats and dam gate operations. Perform, assist, and/or direct other lock personnel in installation, repair and maintenance tasks. Responsible for directing and/or accomplishing all routine or special lock operating gate operations, and maintenance tasks as assigned and for exercising primary authority over use of locks during work shift when working independently of immediate supervision. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
