Central State Bank, a family-owned, community bank with locations throughout the Corridor and Northeast Iowa is seeking a highly motivated Teller to serve customers primarily in our Elkader market.
Our Teller position is part of our front-line sales and customer service team.
Our Tellers assist our customers with daily banking needs by processing transactions, answering questions, and opening accounts.
Our Tellers are experts in the products we offer and the clients we serve.
They assist our customers in identifying which of our products best fits their financial needs and the right person on our team who can assist them with achieving their financial goals.
Our Tellers are detail-oriented individuals who value forming relationships and are comfortable interacting with customers to identify ways we can serve them better.

Previous banking experience preferred but not required.
Experience in a front-line sales or service position a plus.
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Education/Skills High School diploma or equivalent required.
College classes and/or degree provides more opportunity for advancement.
Computer proficiency required.
Experience with banking software and Microsoft Office products preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
